Recent statistics are concerning:

As of 2020, suicide is the second leading cause of death for U.S. children ages 10 to 14, preceded only by unintentional injury.

Young adults ages 18 to 25 in the U.S have the highest rate of experiencing any mental health concerns.

Since 2020 depressive symptoms had an approximate 28% increase and anxiety disorders increased by about 25%.* â€‹

AND THERE IS HOPE! *Research shows that positive neuroplasticity changes the chemistry of the brain, strengthening pathways that increase concentration, memory and cognitive skills as well as improve depression and anxiety

Steph's mission is to support youth and adults by supplying them with science based tools that build resilience and cultivate a life of peace and purpose.

Grit

Grit: your key to success

According to the American Psychological Association (APA) grit is a better predictor of success than IQ. â€‹

Grit: firmness of mind or spirit. Unyielding courage in the face of hardship or danger.

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].

Steph was an entertaining speaker.  She playfully delivered the latest scientific research on the power of positive neuroplasticity.

The youth she spoke to were fueled with hope.

It was apparent that they were interested in knowing more about the concepts she shared. Many who heard the message were inspired by the research on "grit".

Steph's personal experience of overcoming great personal loss and emerging stronger speaks to the victory of her methods.
